You can find all sorts of Cornhole information right here.

So what are the rules of Cornhole?

  1. Equipment: The game consists of two wooden boards, each measuring 2 feet by 4 feet, and eight bean bags filled with corn or synthetic materials. The boards are placed 27 feet apart from each other, with the holes cut near the top of the board.
  1. Scoring: The goal of the game is to score points by throwing the bean bags into the hole or landing them on the board. If a bean bag goes through the hole, it is worth three points. If a bean bag lands on the board and stays there, it is worth one point. The first player or team to reach 21 points wins the game.
  1. Players: Cornhole can be played with two or four players. In two-player games, players stand at opposite ends and take turns throwing. In four-player games, two teams of two players each stand at opposite ends and take turns throwing.
  1. Tossing: Players must throw the bean bags from behind their board and within the designated throwing area. Players cannot step over the throwing line while throwing the bean bag, and must keep one foot behind the line at all times.
  1. Foul Lines: There are two foul lines on the board. If a player steps over the foul line while throwing the bean bag, the throw does not count and the player must throw again.
  1. Canceling Points: If both players or teams score in the same round, the points cancel each other out and are not counted towards the final score.
  1. Interference: Players must not interfere with their opponent's throws or distract them in any way. If a player is found to be interfering, they may be disqualified from the game.
  1. Winning: The game is won when one player or team reaches 21 points. The winning team or player must win by a margin of two points or more. If both teams or players reach 21 points in the same round, the game goes into overtime until a winner is determined.
